Folio Honors ForeWord - Again
ForeWord was recently recognized for excellence in journalism when it took home the Bronze in FOLIO'S annual EDDIE Awards early November, 2005. The EDDIE Award is a unique competition in that the entrants are held up to standards set by their own chief editors and are not competing against one another. Winners are determined by comparing the judges' overall evaluations including the quality of content and, to a lesser extent, overall design and production.
"We were really impressed with both the amount of entries as well as the quality of the entries. It is truly amazing to see such excellence within the magazine industry not only from publications that have been around for many years, but also from the brand new magazines on the block. You can see the passion and dedication just by reading the entry forms and mission statements," says Event Director, Amy Zucchi.
